JBS Gerontology Centre was my husband's saving grace.
My elderly father was looked after by the multidisciplinary team in JBS Gerontology centre when he unexpectedly took ill. From resuscitation, to stabilisation to neuro-rehabilitation, and more, the care was holistic and impressive. The centre was super clean, the equipment was top notch. My father was kept clean and decent, and treated with respect throughout this very vulnerable time when he lost his self care. From the carers, to the nurses, the physiotherapists, doctors and chefs, all were professional and patient with my frail father and they were attentive to the needs of the whole family...from those present in Lagos to those who were far away in another continent. After my Dad's two and a half month admission to their hospital, they successfully discharged him with a robust package of care and arranged a very professionally executed relocation.
